Is it possible to change the background colour of the I-Drive screen?
My 'home page' background is brown, but I've noticed from members pics that some have a blue background.
If it can be changed would appreciate info on how to do. Thanks

I am also interested to know this.
On my E39 I could choose between:
~Light or dark Brown
~Light or dark Blue,
as well as setting different colour schemes for day & night.
But I see no such options on the E60!

The 7 Series Manual says the IDrive brightness changes with the Instrument lights dimmer switch ( its by the light on/off switch), try moving it and see, maybe your is set too bright

In Entertainment (radio,cd etc) is brown, in communications menu is blue, in Navigation menu is green and in housekeeping menu (the left one) I do not remember colour
I don't think it is changeable. I have played with every possible option on my I-Drive/NAV and never stumbled across a color choice. My old 330i NAV did give you a choice but then again the screen is so much better with I-Drive that I am not worried about changing the colors.

In my experience the background colour depends on contest you are.
