I just bought my self a BMW 525 2005

I wonder if there is any reset for the i drive so i get back the factory settings especially
for the climate control???

I have searched the hole forum without luck

sure i have seen an option in system settings or i am sure disconecting your battery for 30 mins will put it all back i dont think the idrive has a cmos so to speak and battery to store data during no power

Is is there any fuse for the idrive or climate control i could remove
without causing any problems.

Im going to get a softwear uppgrade in 2 weeks, maby that will do it, or do thay save the settings?
