Hey everyone,

I have ordered a 535d with the M Sport Package. I've still doubts about the color. The problem is that here (in Belgium) you see very little 5series with the M Sport Package.

It will be Carbon Black or Titan Silver. Can anyone help me decide?

First of all, let me beat Iceman and welcome you aboard.

Over the years, I have owned both black and silver BMW's. The silver is much easier to keep clean as it will not show a bit of dust or watermarks. Black is beautiful when it is clean (in the winter, this lasts about 5 minutes).

Overall, I think the E60 looks better in darker colors. I would go with black (a biased opinion of course).

Take the carbon black. We get a 535d too in March Carbon black looks cool and somewhat mysterious. Don't know why, but the e60 looks better in dark colors like black or dark blue. With the interior in a contrasting color like beige it looks just great.

Take the carbon black ! Tit silver is way too common IMO.. and in states here we can't get Carbon black for E60..

Thanks Iceman. Must be hard to welcome every newbie. But anyway, I appreciate your kind attention.

I affirm my previous comment for carbon black. Our current 530i the predecessor of the e60 is carbon black and looks still very elegant. I can't wait for our e60 535d to arrive somewhere in march.

Welcome to the forum, Postel and Mkoehler!

I wud just stress 2 things:

1. By all means give it a look in person. Colours look different with different set-ups.
2. Carbon Black is very nice. But always bear in mind maintenence! It might be
become obsessive at acertain moment.

Otherwise probaly have a look at Silver grey. It cud be a nice compromise and looks stunning with M-Paket too...
