Yes, I think XI height is the same w/ regular RWD height w/o the Sport Pkg. SP on XI model does not include suspension ... since you have SP now you'll feel the difference ... at the moment the I'm using lowering kit is from H&R ... it's harder than SP or go w/ KW v3 at $2700 list price.

They have style 128 w/ XI offset http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=75353&hl=.
On whether you should pull the trigger or not is entirely up to you, I can't really answer that truthfully. I mean hey, look what I'm driving now! lol, but regarding the xi's stance here are a couple of before and afters to give you an idea. This is with 19" Miro reps, not lowered vs. lowered (H&R springs only) I'm sure you've seen my pictures many times but I'll post them up so you can see side by side.

You should be able to tell the diff. but for those who can't middle 2 pics are before.
Thanks guys...these are the pics I needed to see.

If you can afford it, I'd say go for it.

If I lived in RI I would do it, being that I live in SoCal an XI is about as useful as a snow blower. Here it wouldn't matter most Californians can't drive when it's damp, much less bad weather.

thats pretty funny. I have cousins who live in the south and out west in CA. When they come to visit during the winter, they're freaked out at driving through the snow/rain/ etc

I grew up in Denver, so I am pretty used to driving in snow, but HERE?!?!?! Fog on the 5 will cause a 100 car wreck easy, people here seem to completely over estimate both their driving skills and the performance of their cars (note: to all Civic owners, no that huge spoiler you put on it does NOT turn it into an F! car and does NOT turn you into Fangio)
