Does anyone know whether a HUD retrofit will be made available for those with existing NAV PRO in the US?

 

I would be _very_ surprised if it's possible to retrofit the HUD. I would go so far as to say that it's impossible, even. Consider that the HUD requires image-projection equipment in the dashboard behind the instrument cluster with a fairly large cut-out in the top of the dash, an on/off button, and special glass coatings in the windshield.

I could be wrong, but I would think that there will be no way to install the HUD into a non-HUD equipped vehicle.

I see you have NAV + Logic7 sound

Have you noticed problems with AM reception?

I am having problems with mine and the dealer told me BWM is working on a fix.

The problem is that there is a crackling after each spoken work on most if not all stations and the reception is poor.

BMW has admitted it is a problem.

 

I haven't gotten my vehicle yet, so I can't comment. I'm picking it up in Munich on April 29.

I will be getting Pro Nav, but not L7. And I have not picked mine up yet either. But is it specific to those with Nav and or L7? Or one or the other? I want good AM reception. I listen to sports talk radio all the time.
