The HUD will display all messages the dash/I-Drive will display. I wish it displayed the turn signal indicators, it does not. If you look at my 2nd picture the bottoem right green indication is the standard cruise control indicator.

The HUD displays all "Check Control Messages".
Things like fasten seat belts, fuel reserve, speed limit exceeded, transmission gear warnings (SMG), key in ignition, etc., etc.
In addition to the turn signal indicators, I'd love to see them add gear indicators so that people with a Steptronic or SMG can easily see what gear/mode they're in.
