I remember back in the early 90's the Pontiac Bonneville had a heads up display. Its not exactly a new technology, granted the BMW system is 110% better. But I just don't see the big deal.

I have had heads up display in the past 2 cars prior to my 535. The orange color of the display is very easy on the eyes. So no fatigue is place on your eyes.!

Just a point of clarification, it's "Head Up Display", not "Heads Up". Heads up is what you yell when someone is throwing something at you and you are not looking.

HUD is awesome. Its brightness can also be adjusted in the I-Drive screen. I use non-polarized driving sun glasses with it and it is extremely legible.
