My lease will be up in April, 2007. Depending on how trouble-free the car has been, and what the financials look like at that time, I'll either turn it in or buy it. If I turn it in, who knows what I'll want by then.

Maybe I should get on an M6 convertible list just in case . . .

I will probably keep mine for about a year, but definitely before the warranty expires . I love the cars but I am not going to risk it after the expiration as I am having some issues right now .

My first E60 is going after 11 months when the new E60 arrives towards the end of next month. My BMW's are coming in groups of 2's - 2xE46's (2001 323i, 2002 320d) and 2xE60's (2004 520i, 2005 523i). Maybe (not) it'll be an E90 of some sort next year

I'm suprised at how many plan to keep their cars for more than five years!

I suppose its the best thing to do really because when you do eventually change you'll go from an outdated model to a new high tech one.

When I changed from my 530d to 535d apart from it being faster and having a different colour scheme the car itself was just the same and the novelty of owning the new E60 wasn't quite the same as the first one. Still love it though!
