I used a fishing string, run it in between the badget and the body, used goo gone, clean it out.

I've found that Goo Gone is pretty harsh. I would try to clean it off as much as possible by using a blow dryer to warm up the residue first before using Goo Gone.

Use a blow dryer on the decal for 10-15 seconds until it gets warm to loosen the adhesive material. Use floss to with two hands and gently press behind the decal into the adhesive and zig zag it until it cuts through the adhesive. Use goo gone or soap and water to remove any excess adhesive left over.

I used dental floss and windex to wipe off the glue. Goo Gone may be slightly strong IMO
