Everytime I come on base the Bundeswehr looks at my car as I drive off. I also usually get a bunch of people rubbernecking as I drive by them. Today was a little different as a German guard stepped up and Checked out my HUD right before I drove off from the gate.

I love it!!!!!!!

Yeah, I love it too when ppl are looking at my car.
Yesterday a customer of mine who owns an e39 "emmy" (M5) asked me a whole bunch of stuff about it and I showed him the gadgets. He was impressed and I had a lot of fun showing him everything...

Novelty wearing off now in the UK. More and more cars on the road. I still admire others as they go by though !

I still get lots of looks here in Sacramento, California. There are still not many here. I only see others on the road like maybe once per week (usually white or gray). I get lots of looks with my black sapphire.

well..hello

not to brag but this car gets tons of looks in Jersey.

I will fankly tell you that even though my car used to get looks (545i, black saphire) it sure as hell gets twice as many looks with the 20 inch chrome rims. I have posted pics of my car earlier on the older version of this board. Regardless, sometimes stock look just fizzles out but people still tend to look at the car with 20's even though when it will be 4 yrs old.

i'm loving it!!

No one in Seattle takes notice. I see another e60 maybe once a week.
I like the lack of attention... People are less likely to mess with it.

Personally I don't care if people don't look. I bought the car for myself.. I have to say my old 330CI convertible had a lot of attention (especially with my wife behind the wheel), but I always felt a bit awkward with everybody looking at me at the traffic light..

I like our Smart more because it doesn't attract attention and I can look at other cars without people thinking.. He's looking at us to see if we look at him.. And I absolutely love the way people look at our smart in their X5, 5 and 7 series, and Mercedes E and S class.. aaaaaaahhh... look at the guy in his little car, and I know I have the same class of car at home...

Still get alot of positive comments. Anytime anyone gets into the car for the first time they do a slow look around as if they know they are in something special. My neighbors, some of which have more expensive cars, consider that I bought a sports car not a family sedan. (I do have the side and rear window shades for the kids though)

In Holland people will think I make a hughe amount of money because I drive a 5 series.. Unfortunately this is not true, I only work for my car Over here it is a luxury car and you don't see them often.
