Thumbs down

Today I purchased from my Atlanta BMW Stealer ship two MANN micro filters for my 2004 e60, and does anyone know how to change my idrive service setting on Mircofilters to GREEN Again starting today's date when I changed them out myself? (Of course my SA tried to get me to let them do it just for just their BMW Techs hourly rate charge! )

Anyway can anyone here at the five series forms, (FKA e60 Forum), give me step-by-step directions how to change my idrive setting from RED to Geen OK and start counting down from new date of todays Date 7/11/2011 to next year date or the following year date?

Thanks in advance!

The reset procedure is the same as for oil change, brake fluid, etc. For the cabin filters, you do not get a new date, you get a mileage figure. When you have reset, the information in idrive is updated.Just follow the service reset procedure shown in many threads dealing with this topic.

FYI, you don't have to buy filters and such from the "stealership". There are several websites that sell these items for less. I use this one.
