You can code that with the BMWhat app. It's well worth it for the other coding, code reading and deleting options,

I would not recommend doing that! I did mine maybe nine months ago and after about six months I noticed the AE rings had burn spots which affected the light pattern. I've been running JP thunder bulbs for several years. I'm pretty sure this is not the reason, but I am more confident its due to the dimming being changed. Eventually, the left headlight assy inbd. light lens fell completely off and inside the light housing. The only repair for this is to cut open the headlight and repair it, or replace the entire headlight. New prices are running 1500.00 from the dealer. Or you have have someone who know what they are doing repair it for but this will still set you beck nearly a grand for both. After doing some research, I was informed that BMW had made a change to this setting to dim with the headlights on the reduce the heat. It was dealing more with the insulation on the wires coming off. You will be shocked if you could look inside your headlight and see this mess! Good luck!
