I notice that there is no gauge to tell you how hot your car is running. I can't find anything in the IDrive menus, anyone know of a hidden menu I can go into to show me these stats?

There is a hidden menu. The following link explains how to get to it. I know it shows a M5 but it works for all e60's. You can also access the menu with the car on. Just push the trip button and hold it for 6-8 seconds.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this the same proceedure I would use to access and reset my service items (oil, brake fluid, etc)? If so, what do I do after the oil icon appears?

I noticed theres a Battery Voltage meter for menu 09. Can this help us diagnose a weak battery/charging system? It would be cool if we could use this to determine if our car's battery is healthy.
