lol. everyone has great idea. haha. here's an idea. remove ur seats and the brackets. remount the brackets 2 inches back. u have to drill new holes and plug the old one. or get some recaro seats with new brackets that u can move further back.

Hey Guys, the OP was looking for genuine help. I'm tall myself (6' 3") and can understand where he is coming from. The responses I've read here are not what's expected from a great forum community like ours. Please do not turn the main forums into a joke, we have a Lounge for that purpose. A bunch of "I'm sorry's" are not required either. Lets just please try to be as helpful and friendly as possible as we always have been.

I'm actually intrigued by this dilemma. What do tall people do in the E60? Is there a solution? Has anyone ever called BMW NA and complained? If so, what was their response? You would think that they might consider offering adjustable pedals to accomodate taller people.

Matt -
I'm 6'5 and through playing with the seat adjustments, up/down on the thigh supports, up/back on the seat back, have found the spot that works the best for me. I find that I still have an extra inch in the legroom to play with. Choices are definitely limited, although pulling the seats out and drilling new mounting holes sounds like a doable solution, it would make it that your arms and legs would always be straight - as long as your comfortable.
Good Luck - hope you find resolution soon and that the E60 stays in the family.
