how can i add ipod and dvd player

hi
i have 2003 530se auto i have business sat nav and want to add a dvd player for my screens, can i have this running through idrive if so how? what parts where will i get these?
i need a video input to headunit can this be done? if not how do i just get the sound going through it?
whats the best way of adding a ipod to my unit also??????
