Got, ACS Roof Spoiler, but not installed..
the sound on the hi-fi (normal US sound) system. is ok...its pretty good but lacks bass... sometimes on a good track, feels like good enough bass, but mostly not enough...
the biggest disappointment is that its just not loud enough sometimes i turn it up to max and still turn the volume knob 2-3 more turns hoping maybe its will get a little louder

I can't say anything about the standard system, but L7 rules.

My new 530 is on the way and it's minus the Logic-7 system. Can anyone offer any insight on how weak or decent the standard system is. (Mind you I'm a rap listener). Trust me I know this is a relative topic.
The L7 is ok for some Cd's only , but when some time you hear a good bass from home system and you
want to olay it in the car , the sound is not as good as it should be especially the bass.
That why i add a 12" Jl dual voice in the centre arm rest

A good installer will know how to do this. Unfortunately, good installers are not easy to find. Someone would essentially need an engineering degree to be qualified to mess with my E60.... I doubt there's a lot of high-school drop-out stereo installers running around with engineering degrees.
I just asked in few places (including one in Luxembourg's specializing in all sorts of Car-Audio installs, and they said they do all cars, BUT new BMWs - which they don't even touch..."
3 dealers asked about this subject (Luxembourg, Germany and Poland) also replied - nope, we won't touch audio in your car.
So, now I'm a bit confused - is it really so easy to mess-up this car's eletronics by installing ANYTHING?
Why everybody refuses to simply add amp+ sub + switch all speakers for a good ones?
I would also appreciate any contacts / addreses for any places where they DO touch E60 audio
(preferably in Luxembourg - Trier - Bitburg - Koblenz or Frankfurt area)PS Thanks in advance to all the German members!

The simple answer is: "No, it is technically not that difficult to add an amp & subwoofer.'
But doing ANYTHING to a car with as much electronics integration as an E60 can result in damage. Computers rely on very specific power requirements. If you add an amplifier, you could easly affect the current draw for the entire car. (ie it is common for amps to cause headlights to dim during heavy bass hits) And varying the current draw can cause your computer systems to go haywire. I have seen this happen in my last car, a Lexus. In that car, I had 10 farads of capacitance added to compensate for the extra current draw.... and I still had problems.
So, I decided when I got my E60... that my aftermarket audio days were done. It's just to risky to damage the car, and the consequences are expensive to fix. I don't need BMW voiding my warranty because I let some high-school dropout cut into my vehicle wiring to add some bass.
