My Ride: 2008 E61 535xiT Black on Black
The same thing happened to my car on the rear driver side in a parking lot... just a lighter scrape, apparently with no damage to anything but the paint. I always go out of my way to park far away from everyone else, but when I come out of wherever I am there is invaribly someone parked next to me.

If you are in Northern VA and are looking for a shop, I'd recommend Royal Auto body in Sterling. They did some work on my car recently and buffed some scratches that I didn't think would come out.

Sorry to hear but LOL @ note....I have yet to see someone leave a note! It would be a bad joke if someone witnessed it and left a note indicated someone they didn't like.
