hood not closing properly

Haha are you talking about just this case or all E60s? I havent really heard of any other complaints associated with the hood not closing...

Well you know how new designs are, the E39 doesn't have those two latch so there were never a problem with the closing of the hood.

Oh... but doesnt mean the new two latches are bad in design...

I dont remeber how the old E39 was... need to dig out my M5 pics

The overall design of the E60 is not bad at all but there are bugs.

Thank God I did not bring my car to the dealer. It would have cost me money for nothing. My friend used his fingers and just played around with the latch mechanism on the hood and EVERYTHING WAS SOLVED.....now my car is back to normal with awesome black grilles.....
