I saw one replica selling on ebay, they are not ordinary replica, they OEM lookalike replica.
It costs about 400 GBP, and the seller is from HK, so we might able to get the lower prices.

Check this out:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-2003-09-E60-E61-...A1%7C240%3A1318
Look familiar...
Car8

I called them today it is HK$4900 (mirrors & casings) (Pro!)
It is an exact replica of M5 mirrors (Pro!!)
You need the motors and wiring of your old oem mirrors (Con!)
Because you use the original oem motors, you have all the features the oem has, including dipping (the cheap replica can't do) (Pro!!)
The mirror cannot fold (Con!!)

It keeps me thinking right now...

If the info is more detailed I might have
Seriously, I only sent them an email getting more details right now, the info provided on their site is not quite complete... unless I oversaw something.

After all those experience I had, I now prefer to buy any electronic related mod directly from local source. There is always a big risk on getting something not working on your car and need to go through the "big computer". Also there is risk of malfunctioning and a big hassle to get refunded. At the end the money you spend is the same. JMHO.
