Change OEM halogen headlight to third party HID is the most cheapest and best way instead of back to dealer, If you bid this from eBay item and should need to back to dealer or others garage shop which have that BMW computer to reset your vehicle before use.

Are you really sure we haven't angel eyes ?

This auction over 1,000 USD, Third party HID over 1,000 HKD only.
HI ... its gonna sound stupid / newbie like ... but I really like the projector look (instead of the halogen lamp). I just think that the xenon projectors w/ the angel eyes look alot nicer.

I think either my existing lights have angel eyes but have died out or I don't have them at all .....

So besides the reprogram @ dealer, do I need anything else? sounds like that ebay pair has everything ... I don't need any additional retrofit kits?

and I guess I'll be seeing some of u @ singfai !!!!!!!!!!

1> sorry forgot to say welcome to HK sub-forum
2> xenon or halogen also have angel eyes, your haven't means may ruin out or block by software version.
3> xenon projectors vs first party HID just xenon projectors have a len to focus the light beam only
4> you still can to use third party HID to your exisiting halogen lamp cover to get the xenon look
5> eBay pair has everything but need to reprogram by dealer after install.

If you willing to post your whole cluster over here, we can do it for you
But you cant drive your car at least a week and there will be a risk of damaging your cluster during the transportation

Not a stupid question at all, i know what you mean.
porjector headlamp does look better than the halogen headlamps with those aftermarket xenon

I will go down to SingFai to get my cluster change (To LED, thanks Ricky) next week,
lets come down for chit chat and you can ask AK (SingFai owner) about the headlight conversion at the time.
