cos I know more about such men's stuff than car modding!!
got the CF splitter (thx to bill) and had it installed at AK47 yesterday. we used 2-sided tape instead of glue cos I suspect that I will crash it over bumps quite quickly and need to switch back to the M-tech w/o splitter, tape might be easier when it happens.

ET as you haven't lowered your car, the only risk is going up ramps or big bumps in carparks,
my car is lowered 40mm at the front and my wife is yet to scrape them, and she bombs into carparks
(very scary a lady driving a lowered BMW, cocksure guys who wait to cross in the middle of the road, run away when they see her bomb along

hold on i thought dry carbon fibre bends and absorbs energy and is nearly unbreakable?

great, pls post a photo!! actually the part does not really lower the front bumper by more than a few mm, just that you wil be more careful, only the points (pointing inward) have a risk, but they are supposed to be free moving.

it depends on what itis made for.
if it is for aero part they will break cos it would not be as think as say roof of a M6 or M3, it like fiber glass and crack and shatter.
when F1 cars hit some thing they just shatter.
here are some eg.
