Latest update, we have 3 confirmed for Monday's meet at the Ocean Terminal 11:30am. mic325, sliu_uu, and myself. Others pls send in your confirmation la. Nothing much planned for this meet, probably we'll take some pics, chk out each others' cars, share our bimmer stories, and probably grab a quick bite/lunch at the OT.
I paid HK$12K for the 122 8J x 17 wheels with 245/45 R17 runflat tyres, these were brand new 122, 8J x 17 wheels with 245/45 R17 runflat tyres today from a 530i, my sales person got them for me personally, he told me a guy bought a 530i upgraded his wheels to 245/35 R18... he can sell the set to me @ HK$12K

Ask your sales person if you wish to upgrade you tyres
![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
I told him to De-badge the 523i
Just wonder if your Sales person is the same as mine. When I first got my car, I asked him to find me a set of wheels from the 530/545 for me, and 2 months later, he told me one of his customer will have a 530i by the end of August, and he will be taking off the wheel and get a 19" ACS wheel upgrade. He said he will be selling it for around $10k. I was tempted to take the offer, but after talking to a few friends, price seems to be kind of high for stock wheels. So I rejected his offer.
In the wheel shops, they are taking back the tyre/wheels for around $4000-$5000, so the Sales in fact had a profit of around $5000, that's more than he can make for selling a car.
In fact, later when I get my own wheel upgrade in Mong Kok, it turns out to be the same shop where my Sales is dealing with. What a small world, so I know for sure they are ripping of their own customers.
