Hi guys, just wanna share some pics of my new ride in UK, guess what? It's BMW!! It is my drive after selling my Celica (I sold it and spent most of the money to fund my 530i mods project in HK) So hope u enjoy folks!

BMW 1999 318i SE (1.9 with 118bhp)
It's not as fun as my Celica but it's value for money for sure! At least got 4 doors~
I would not say it not as fun as the Celica. I mod my old 325i engine, towerbar, swaybar, brakes, well and loads more just gose on and on and wow it gose and handles very well or better than a Celica.
Are you going to mod this car?
Nice I see that this 1 is the very eraly models, the steering wheel is not the same as my 1 and I see the wheels is the 1st bach cars too.
so how much was it in UK?
Are car cheep over there?
My mum just go a free 118i in UK, Free cos every 2 to 3 year we win about a BMW car worth of stocks in UK and HK, that why it free.

I tried my mate's 03 330i while i was in HK this summer, and the car got loads of mods as well (lowered, exhaust, sway bar, brakes and carbin fiber induction kit..etc) and it was very very good car indeed and surprise with the performance a little bit(Very good handling and powerful). And maybe as you say my car just the early model with no mods, the suspension is very soft and it is not as good as i orginal thought the BMW should be (Maybe just not enough POWER...heehee, But its a good car tho i have to say)

I paid GBP 3400 and it has up-to-date BMW service history 90K miles on the clock (Which is quite rare in UK cos ppl just don't bother to service the car in the dealership after the 3yrs warranty expired)

And my ex-celica has slightly more powerful engine and its much lighter (Just over 1000kg with 140bhp) and sits lower,so it handles pretty good when cornering comparing with my stock E46.

How lucky you got a brand new car every 2-3years, you should tell me which one you buying!!joking

Welcome to the HK forum
My car can not read chinese so I think itis the same as your 1 and itis a 2004 car with not updates of the software.
alot of people tell me not to update the software if there is nothing wronge with the car, so I just left it as itis.
maybe the new software has the chinese??? dont know???

My car is a 520d LCI in Taiwan and in the English menu mode, it can't read any chinese names at all... my Moto phone list just shows symbols like @#%# for any Chinese characters and the same applies for any MP3 format CDs played as well.

That a good price, I know what you mean. I dont take it back to BMW dealer too, I DIY or take it to my local place to get it service.
I dose not matter to me cos I alway trand it in to BMW and they give me a good price.
3 more years with the E60 and I will change to a pre owned X5 or a Z4
have you drove the S2000?
wow what a car rev it to over 9000rpm
I alway buy the blue chips and 1 china stock
I just ganed 30% on my MPF this year.
In 10 years time I can get a Ferrari with my MPF money
