I don't think BMW had ever released a Chinese I-drive, or any non-Latin languages. It will be a great idea if they can display Chinese in the i-drive screen, so people with MP3 compatible in-dash CD player can display the songs title correctly.

I changed the xenon bulbs soon after I got my ride. There is no easy way to do the xenons. You will have to remove the bumper and the the headlight unit to change the bulbs. It was no trial and error and I believe that was the correct way to do it because I had an ex-BMW serviceman helping me. End result was however, fantastic. I am now using the Philips xenon bulbs, I think they're known as P2S (6500K) and I took the opportunuty to change the high beam bulbs to halogen 6500 bulbs too. Also from Philips.

what brand tires did you get to go with the wheels? Im thinking of Goodyear F1 GS-D3 non runflats when my Dunlops wear out.

Ok, I tested the bulbs out last night. If you look at them straight on from the outside, they are definitely much much brighter than the stock OEMs. However, funny thing is, when you're back at the driver's seat looking out, the brightness is about the same (but whiter in color). That's strange. Oh well, what can I expect for $450 right (when real HIDs cost thousands) ?? heh heh....
