close down after new year haha
wrong on the cost for 2, infact itis $10hk cheeper
$60 for ticket =$120
$40 for parking for 2h or more if over 2h film
total is $160 in cinema

only $150 at the drive-in cinema.
BUT for the $10 more I go to cinema, better sound, better seats, air-con, 4 people can see the film, no dust better air and better food.
Well have to shed some lights in this matter.

If I drive, I usually go to Cyberport to see movie. If I don't then there's no point of discussing this, so here's my cost:

Movie x 2 = 58.50 x 2 for foreign films as you get 10% discount by using certain credit cards. Also I always go to movie on Tuesday which only cost $50.

If I decide to go for HK films even cheaper say $49.50 x 2 with the discount and $40 x 2 on Tuesday

There's 2 hours free parking at Cyberport and after that is $12/hour I think, don't really care as is very cheap anyways

Therefore the cost of my movie would be:

$117 + $12 (if the movie is over 2 hours) = $129. which is $21 cheaper then the drive in. And when you add in the price of air-con, better seat, better sound, better washroom etc... there's no point of going drive-in.

Right, alot of places offer free parking if you buy something, so no need to drive in.

WOW thats cheap! its like 2 X $10 a movie now here... + parking at some places... and not to mention I usually end up paying for the dinner too... it gets expensive... So now I rather wait till it comes on DVD and rent it LOL... $4.95 at most and cheaper if its online rental and you can invite all your friends over. Or somtimes you dont want to invite them all over...
