got my car back from bmwhk today and decided to change to the tinted plates. some pictures...

i was told to bring the car together with all remotes+keys back at some point later to reprogram the onboard computer software to a newer version. interesting... looking at some other mail threads, not sure if this is a good idea or not. when i asked which version are they going to program, that guy didn't know. i think it's a december 2006 version as the paper says "target data status: e60-12-2006". something like that.

good luck.
as for the softwere why upgrade?
something wrong with the car.
my 2004 has never been for a update software, touch wood.

oh well, had to change it back in the end as my other half didn't like the looks of it.

i think they did a routine check on the car and advised for upgrade. there are several components that needs upgrading according to the report and one of which is the ipod upgrade of some sort (at least, the description has the word "ipod"). i guess you could also send in your e60 for the software upgrade if you like.

never been and I think the sound will be $hit too. No DTS or 5.1.
I just found out from my frend in LA, that most of them are closed down, so I don`t know why they have got 1 in HK.
I will not go there in the summer when itis over 35c. no air-con

Yeah, it says on their website, engines must be turned off during movie. That's crazy !! No A/C in the summer? So the only time one might want to go is now. Btw, sound is transmitted via WiFi 2.4 Ghz. Curious to see how it is done and sound quality.
