direct replacement w no error code? any other tricks to share? believe rickys led mod requires a big resistor to avoid any error code.

Im running LED in my angel eye i think! needed big resistor... and think one of them is faulty and needs to be replaced!

I think most new leds are built in resistors now so just plug and play but dont know how long they will last.

The one iq bought uses electronics to convert the voltage but internal resistance will still be different from the original bulb so imagine would still give code unless u stick a big resistor in // to it. And since the big resistor dissipates a lot of heat so it tends to burn out easily
