Hi all, I'm new comer here. Just want to ask any Brothers driving E60 M5 in HK!!! Actually I'm looking for 2005 or 2006 M5 which any special problem at all, especially the SMG. Many thanks.

Welcome to the best e60 forum in the world and have fun too.
well I can put it this way most 2nd hand car will need some kind of fix 95% of our member had there cars fixed from oil leaks and some wishbone changes but these were 523, 525,530. Not shore about M5 engine?

Thx Pingu. If there is the problem of oil leaks and wishbone only, that's fine for me. I tried bmw 330ci before and it need to fix those stuff also. It's also same regular items for bmw. I just a little bit worry about the smg and clutch for m5. By the way thanks for your advice!!!!

well most ppl know that the SMG in the M5 is very jerky and not good to drive for day to day.
I don't know how reliable is the SMG in the M5 but looking at the forum in the M5 topics it looks OK
I know that the car is very cheap now but do a bit more home work before you buy it and when you do, I love to have a go in the MD or ND
