Got it.
yesterday I went to Navi install Dension GW 500.
Unfortunately after 6 hours for installation, the technician told me it didnt work for my car. Same problem as this case.
I only want to get a AUX IN into my car can play MP3 songs with USB stick or ipod, Any other solution for me pls ?

have you considered the bmw ipod interface retrofit? think its around 2k + installation. u will lose the cd changer but u gain integration to the idrive I believe.

I have Logic 7 stereo system on my car so I think it worth the change, if you have standard stereo system I think the change will not provide you better sound experience but only a convenience of CD-Free.
If you want better sound from i-pod, you can choose AIFF format when storing the song into your i-pod. The file size will increase dramatically but the sound quality is quite close to standard CD, IMO.

interestingly, when I play songs on my iphone via usb into my amp, the sq is pretty crap but when the same song in the library stored on harddisc (still compressed) is played via dlna, the sq is more acceptable.
I think I have paid 3.3K for this i-pod retrofit.
