I'd suggest you try 2 garages to see which one will offer you more information/diagonsis on your "minor problems". Garage with expertise is difficult to find especially our 5 series is actually an electric operated car ... the very basic requirement is they must have a "BMW computer" ...

That's why AK shop have the "BMW comptuer". Since a lot time the "BMW computer" just indicate the code only, also need a specialist to diagnose the symptoms.

many shops in ssp has it but don't know which one is legal and good reception....there are many brands, motorola, kenwood...etc

Legal or not depend on the owner own the license or not instead of which brand name. For apply license, owner need to attend a course and exam.

Am no expert on this, thought the water goods use other country freq band which might not be the civilian band in hk.

AK has the newest computer and with help of ricky the ele. pro, many of our 5er and 3er are fixed, even bmwhk dose not know how to fix our stuff lol
