I recall BMWHK quoting me close to $100K to fix my old 730i.
Wht needs fixing?? I bet ur 730i is only valued at 1/2 of that amount.

Not extending your warranty? You're a brave soul, I recall BMWHK quoting me close to $100K to fix my old 730i. After that experience, I swear to myself I will keep extending the warranty for as long as they offer it....haha.
But how old was it when your 730i need a 100k fix? The extended warranty runs out at the end of 4th year and there's no way of extending it regardless of how much you are willing to pay.

So all those year paying for extended warranty might be close to that figure.

Plus I think shops outside charges less than that to fix the 100k problems, a relative of mine take his 740i back to BMWHK for emission test and they charge him like 20-30k to fix all the stuff that BMWHK think needs fixing, well not worth it IMO.

Did you got a new bike yet, I heard you are selling your Ducati last time.

Let me know if you got a new bike and I think I might wait two years for it

Just came back from China.

I sold my Ducati about 3 weeks ago and haven't bought a new one yet. Actually I don;t think I'll be getting one as yet, maybe wait for a while.

Dear HK E60 owners, may I know whether you all take your car back to BMW for service? If not, what shops out there would you recommend?

Thank you in advance!

Yeah, two years or so from now I should be able to handle a superbike.

I am not planning to bring it back to BMW for service. I will call Lawrence when I want an oil change.
