My Ride: carbonized MB coupe
![Default](https://5series.net/forums/images/icons/icon1.gif)
no doubt quality is up and tuning an audi and vw is much easier and cheaper
than BMW (sorry for MB only AMG V8 are mainly tuned)
Audi are not a drivers car (non RS) and look the same inside and out,
i remember testing the A4 and the hill brake has to be pressed next to gear lever??!!
this is auto as standard on MB and BMW......
Captain 19- we should see you in the new sausage A6 car then?
one more thing, my German boss refused to let me buy the S5, because he thought the depreciation would be tremendous
v mb or bmw

sorry for guys who love Audi A1
just to share my feeling
Audi A1 is not a driver's car...
it's a kids car...
i can only get in with the seat in angle
and no way mark can fit in even load him from the trunk /chop him in 2 pieces / put the seat all the way back
and i think the rear light module is weird on non red colour ...
from the side view , it looks like the car is missing rear bumper / the rear light is temporarily stick on
also i hate that "silver basket handle"....
is it an anti roll cage/super chassis reinforcement??

it will be a A5 or A7 4door coupe, BMW cars are becoming over priced for what they are. The 6er 4door coupe will be well over the 700k mark so that a no go for me.
next car will be a 4 door coupe, I always love the MB 1 when it 1st came out.

I can confirm you guys Audi's still not the proper driver's car.
The chassis, ride is great. Not talking about the interior or exterior becos its very subjectives.
But in terms of handling, its still lacking behind.
The electronic steering feels very wired, sometimes heavy and sometimes very light even at the same speed.

i just bought the book " The man in the white suit, the Stig" an autobiography by Ben Collins
a nice read!
hey what's up with Toyota and Lexus again??
those guys who bought cheap recently must be regretting it now, i wouldn't buy anything from them
unless it was a post 2010 bug free toyota/lexus.....
i also went back for a re-call on the steering fluid seal, no probs.

Last I checked like a month ago BMW was offering me like low to mid 200k for my car if i were to trade it in for the new 5 series thought it was quite reasonable as my car has close to 80km on it already and is quite beat up. And they also mentioned that if you own two or more BMW in HK then they will give you an additional 10 to 15k discount on your purchase.

Bill that good to know that MB recalls cars with bug and fixes them unlike BMW has no recalls on the E60 and there are 100 of bugs which needed to be fixed and HK will not fix and that US and UK fixes
