to cut a long story short................
the tested times for 0-100kmh by Car PLus
Previa 3.5 7.54secs
Previa 2.4 11.37secs
Alphard 350 8.37secs
Alphard 2.4 12.85secs
Noah 2L 10.74secs
Stepwagon 2.0 11.41secs
Odyssey 2.4 10.25secs
MB Viano 3.5 10.13secs
Nissan Elgrand 3.5 8.63secs
Nissan Serena 2L 12.20secs
Mazda 8 2.2 12.66secs
BMW x5 7 seats 3.5 6.8secs (not tested) and for
5.0 5.5secs.
VW Caravelle 3.2 10.96
Volvo XC90 V8 9.5secs
The only choice for a fast 7 seater is the X5.....
then the Previa, what is disappointing is the direction
of Honda, even a copy called a Noah is quicker than a STEPWAGON
this is a good example of how having just one dealer who chooses the crap
products from Japan and not the good ones will screw up the range on offer.
Here Toyota wins easily, I like Honda because they are the BMW of Japan but the range
for sale in HK and how they are detuned eg.Odyssey is shocking.

FYI X5 LCI (facelift) is now offering 3.0T engine (the 335i engine), should do null to 60mph within 6.5 seconds

yes,I am also using
RE001...very good. Very reliable in wet. On Sat evening, it was raining very very heavily in kwai chung, I was driving 100+ to test the tyre, very stable and accurate.
But it is also expensive.
mine is 225 50 R17 cost 1650 each. If 245 R19....should be over 2k

It's not for adult (or it's not for tall adult).
It cannot fit the baby car seat.
It's an option extra, that will cost arm and leg.
Hmm, it's all above compromise, isn't it?
