its not a small effort to organise transportation, accommodation, permission and schedule from authority for so many things and people.

not small at all but they done this 1000 of times shipping big stuff, like the F1 cars so they used to it.
Ferrari have got there own full time plane to ship things around the world, unlike other makers which need to hire containers or other shipping company

it a fact.
this is why they ship out the ferrari to italy to fix a mirror on a 360 a few years ago becasue a truck driver nock it off, it cost over 30k just for that 1 part.
they can not do the repaint in HK so they need to ship it back to match the colour.
this is why there is not a paint shop in HK for ferrari.

where did you hear that from? I have to say I found that hard to believe.

ps, you know the old gm boss got forced out and the fact that he flew by private plan to meet the senate was definitely a catalyst.

this news was a long time ago about 4 years ago.
it read it in a SCMP
the guy had to get a lone to pay it off.
they say they hired a company like DHL full time to ship parts around the world.

I've heard some rich people ship their Lambo by air cargo back to Italy for an oil change, but never heard of such mirror thing ...
