I was referring to cornering speed, not the speed before entering the corner.

we must look at it as a target segment (italics)

people who opt for the Panamera (>1M <$2.8M) io of the 7 and S are posh driver owners, who want a bit of style

listed companies will always buy a 7 or S, L as it is traditional and so as not to appear flashy, and it is always more infininitely more
comfortable in the back due to the wheelbase

the new BMW RR Ghost on the other hand will take away sales from MB S, A8, bentley and Porsche Pan turbo,
because you can't compare a Rolls Royce Ghost to a Porsche or Bentley, it's simply for the Bosses, i think it will be like 3.5M
(without the bulletproof glass).

Capt you are a good market research node, all your info has been put to use, believe me, but several things shocked them
and that was how hard and demanding you wanted the cars to be on the driving side, none of you guys mentioned comfort!!

don't know abt you KC, but those kind of bends were taken
in the UK in the Ford Cosworth at 140km and 100km - easily,
what improvements did they do since then on cars??????
even today i think a Escort Cossie or 205gti 1.9 or Clio sport will kill nearly all the
fast Jap cars up TMS, GTR included.
what would your old Lancia Evo compare V a e90 m3??

well BMW is the ultimate driving machine
if you need a comfort car then MB
back to the BMW comfort it is ok for me I like it as it is.
If it is like a sofa then I would not mod the car to drive fast

In the uk, I could approach a tight left hand bend around 60 mph (ok the actually cornering speed might be a little lower but not by much) so agreed 100km+ is not going to be a problem for some bends on tms but on the other hand, it's just silly to take them at full speed because most of them are blind corners and there are a lot of manholes which can take someone by surprise.

I would say the delta integrale will be no match for the e90 m3. The king of tms has got to be the Honda civic though

it's not all abt comfort. There is also appearance and status. If I want a boss car, ie, driven around by a chauffeur, it will have to be the mb s class. The interior just much posher than the bimmer
