Hello Mario, how's it hanging in Gr Britain? I bet it's quite cold there now. I hv WD40, but like u said due to its smell, Im hesitant in applying it just yet. Im hoping to find an alternate solution, it will be my last resort (maybe the dealer is my last resort).

Btw guys, the RF Dunlops really have no grip. The other day I was driving home on the usual twisty but fun Island Road. The surface was a bit damp, I felt the car slid sideways when I pulled a fast corner. Scary.

It is a bit cold and the road can be icy early in the morning (good fun)
As regards to WD-40, try a little bit first. You be amazed.

I have to say dynamic drive works really well with the Active Steering. I think this helps on wet road holding at relatively higher cornering speed.

On the topic of shake and rattle, there's this rattling noise coming from the dash but couldn't find it. Anyone have similar experience?

Me too, I get this noise very often when I drive above 80km while on the "rougher" section of the freeway, I was sure whether the noise came from the dash or the right speaker mount next to the right mirror, my car is at MTW now, I will ask them to check it

The noise u hear may come from that piece of clear plastic covering your instrument panel. Try this, put pressure on the clear plastic (mear the edges) when u come across rough roads, see if the noise would go away. If so, BMWHK can put felt tapes around the trim to cure the problem. They did mine and noise gone for ever.

Regarding stalled engines, check and see your car's idle RPM. If it's at 500/600 level, then it's no big deal, they will just tune it up to 700+ and the stalling problem goes away. I know it's very embarassing, especially at the gas station (more so if a hot chick happens to be in the next car check u out) when a spanking new 5er stalls.

PS here is a pic from my bathroom window showing my neighbor's car (now it's red), BASTARD (my neighbor I mean)! Well, he lives in a house, I live in an apartment, what can I say. Life sucks ! hahaha...

Oh Btw, the REAL BUNBUN wants to say "Gung Hei Fat Choy" to all E60 HK Forum Members

Yup and that's a house that's worth 3-4 mil in $US.

Bunbun is their neighbour which mean he must be loaded, not dirty thoughts but cash.
