I was v tempted to get a testarossa last year, but after checking on maintainance, I passed. mind you, if you get an f40 or enzo, then the cost can be offset by appreciation.
Appreciation is calculated at the time you actually sell the car. F40 or Enzo are collector's favourite, meaning that they will never sell the car, in that case, may be it's just me (the poor), the maintenance cost is very much like dumping cash into the Victoria harbour.

exactly because demand > supply especially when the econ is good, thats how one can demand higher price. testarossa on the other hand, ferrari had made truck load of them, thx to Miami vice. do you know testies have 2 ecus, 1 for each of the 6 cylinders and that needs to be tuned regularly if you want the engine to stay in 1 piece!

anyway I dont have that kind of cash but its good to have goals in life.

This thing could cost you 200K p.a. to fix. Just out of my wild guess.
That's why only buy from Italian Motors as they offer 12 months warranty on their pre-owned Ferrari. Drive it for a year and become a happy man.

Don't we all here in HK

I really don't think Mr. Shark (or me) can gain any advantage on a race using those body kids, the coils would be much more cost effective in that sense, but we don't get to pose it, do we? Don't you think, Mr. Shark?

Unless we do it like the yankies, leave our bonnet open everytime we meet... Man it would look so dumb here!
I would never consider to race in HK's road. Even if I am driving a sport car, it is still meaningless. In here "POSE" is all that matter. It's the attention you get that counts.

this is why I never get a ferrari unless I got rich
you will be better off getting 2 car for the 1 and have much more fun Caterham and Atom 3 and still have loads of $$$ to send it up for trackday
