The gearbox of the GTR is very jerky when the car is cold, need to warm it up to make it less jerky. Both being DSG transmission, the M3 is way smoother in either situation.
Once warmed up, the GTR is not that hard to live with considering the performance it potentially has, never owns any other super car but I think it should be easier to live with than those lambo or ferrari.
Stanley is right that the GTR handling is great, grip like unlimited, the electronics do alot of work for the driver to make it this easy to drive with this amount of power under the gas paddle. Despite i was very conservative at speed Sat night through some unfamiliar corners, but it sure does make a decent driver feels like M. Schumacher (which is not a good thing sometimes).
The exige should be even raw'er than the GTR, I have never sat in one, but if it is a second car, I guess it doesn't matter....
Cheers,
Mike

mike put the power so early and yet the gtr went round corners as if it was on rail, so seems to me its fairly easy to drive but I wouldnt go as far to say its a daily car, especially the gear change is v jerky at low speed. though I agree by comparison it might be better than the exige (never sat in one b4 actually).
just curiously, are you as fuzzy when choosing your gf / wife when the time comes?
