Hey, I just noticed that yours is very similar to mine Black on Grey with Aluminum. Also you got the 122, that's the one I wanna get too. May I know where did you get it and approx how much? Thanks

You r welcome Ray, I got my 122 from the BMWHK Rep, I reckon I paid too much :'( for them, ask BunBun or gf366 to show you where to get original BMW good as new wheels from shops in HKG (they told me you can get them at a good price in Happy Valley and MK, right guys ).

BTW, I'm from downunder (Australia), shield is my neighbour

Right mate, there's also a shop besides Yeung Wor Hospital in Happy Valley, I have not been there yet but a friend of mine who lives in the Hong Kong side buy tires from them and they have OEM rims there for sale on consigment, the price is reasonable too.

Hi Shield & Sliu_uu,

I actually visited Auckland about a month ago and stayed in the Takapuna area. It's a nice country.

Hi fun2drive,

So we attended the same school. But I was there long time ago (when they first built the Vari Hall). Welcome abroad!

Actually, I got mine from gf366. Therefore the "friendly" price shouldn't be used as reference when comparing with second hand OEM wheels at tire shops. I think anywhere between $7-$8k is reasonable for a set of 90%+ new style 122 + runflat tires.

Hi AC_S5,

I know which garage you are referring to, the little one beside the hospital? Are rims real BMW product? Thanks again!

Well I haven't been there, I was just told by my friend that this shop has some OEM rims and of course you can tell the difference between fake and real.

As for pricing, I have seen a set of 138 17" (525i) selling for $7500 at a tire shop with the RFT, and I have also seen a set of 123 selling for $8500 so you can use this as your reference.

Btw, last week I filled up for the very first time with V-Power gas (b4 has always been the cheapy reg. unleaded gas). Altho I can't really tell the difference in "performance", the tank seems to last longer than reg unleaded.....maybe just my wishful thinking and imagination
