My Ride: 05 Silver Grey 523i | Step, M-Kit, M5 Trunk Finisher, 19" ACS Type IV Wheels, Goodyear F1 GS-D3 245/35/19, Grey Dakota Leather, Maple Wood Sycamore Anthracite, Advanced Climate Control, Electric rear sunblind, Electric folding mirrors with automatic anti-dazzle, Lights package, PDC, Rain sensor, Business Radio, CD Changer
Got the answer about the trim piece in the rear center console. BMW does not sell that piece in Aluminum, that's why those cars with Aluminum trim has the cubby hole.
That's what I read in this post

Very nice meeting you all!
It's such a great experience to have such a meet with everyone, luckily the weather is soooo nice today that we'd able to take some nice pictures!
I think we should open a topic in the album section for all of our pictures.
Well, my wife asked me how come I can have a 3.5hrs lunch w/ you all, but can't stand a 1hr lunch w/ her???
Hehe...
