Found a great website of DIY maintance of your bimmer, not specific for e60 tho, but will be good enough for a mechanical dumb like me
(Inc DIY pulley kit change)

He also metioned that all the pulley are made of plastic which lighter enough and really no power gain even change.

I felt interesting is that red circled crank shaft pulley just under water pump, but seem not yet have supplier.
