Hi,
I think I have to also agree that my E60 auto shifting is more precise and smoother.
Sometimes when starting off, the auto trans seemed to be a little laggy, like it didn't know what gear to start off in. After the reset, it seems much smoother and crisp.

My Ride: 535d Sport, carbon black, media pack, visibility pack, grey leather, heated seats, sun protection glass, voice control, Eibach ProKit, 19" 166 style wheels, e-maps ECU remap to 325hp and 640NM, top speed limiter removed

My Ride: 535d touring 2006 M-sport, Mystic blau.
I did it yesterday, and shifting seems defenetly better 
I drive in very heavy and demanding trafic, so propably have to do the
"reset" quite often to ease up the box.
I did not have the "slam" before what people are talking, just some rough shifting sometimes.
Even not happy with it, I thought it is the way it should be. Now car seems smoother..
Anyway I have to wait to go out of this damn city, and go to summer vacation and drive some nice roads to know better -
7000 km Europian motorways and mountain roads ahead

Ok, this is really strange guys - cause the BMW doc I read said that the trans adjusts to your driving style every time you drive (every time you accelerate to be exact!)- very strange.

Well was at bmw for service today and was flipping through the 07 5 series book they had and definetly confirmed the tranny does indeed adjust to your driving style-I know everyone knew this but never saw it in writing so makes me even more sure this reset obviously makes a huge idff
