Almost at 150k Miles...
Nothing out of the ordinary: just some known issues with the touring models I had to cope with.
Besides that I'm about to replace my turbo, just a precautionairy piece of preventive maintenance though.
Ok, I've got a diesel but I'm sure a lot of the 545/550 guys can chime in here with V8 specifics...

Keep in mind that you have to use a rear-facing child seat until the baby is 12months/20lbs. The rear facing seat you pick will have more to do with which car-seat/stroller modular system you choose. It's really convenient to be able to unsnap the car seat from the base, and snap it into the stroller.
After that...
Although pricey, the Recaro Pro Sport is the nicest front-facing car seat money can buy. We have one for each of our vehicles so we never have to remove them (except to clean/condition the leather)

Congrats on the expecting baby! I have Britex Blvd's in my car but I'm sure there might be something better on the market now. These kids were'nt even born yet when this car arrived! The seats were previously used by my now 5 and 7 year olds who have now graduated to booster seats. My wife has Recaro's in her Suburban, both look like they are built to provide good side/neck protetion for side impacts.

Tough question to answer cause I don't want to jinx myself, but, This has been the best car I've ever owned! Other than the 6-disc player in the glove compartment occasional jam...Not one issue!

Thanks... Baby is due in December. Thanks for the recommendation. I look into the Recaro's.
