I have a question that I have been unable to figure out... Did manual E60/E61s get the hill takeoff assist like e90s did? I'm talking about the feature where if you are stopped on a hill and you release the brakes they will stay on until you let the clutch out
I have an E90 335xi (factory manual) and an E61 535xi (manual swapped) both 2008 MY
The e90 has this feature but the e61 does not, should it?
I wired in the clutch switch (to both the dme and frm) and reverse lights and coded the car and everything else works fine with no errors

My 2009 535xi wagon has hill assist and a manual transmission. If I come to a stop on even a mild angle it will hold it for up to 2 seconds before rolling. I find it to be a nice feature that just works, I don’t think about it. I believe this is standard on E60s and E61s.
