High Battery Discharge showing up

Hi guys I got a high voltage discharge message showing on my car: I read the codes and it says:
4212 Glow plug cylinder 1 activation
4232 Glow plug cylinder 3 activation
4242 Glow plug cylinder 4 activation
4548 power managment closed circuit current violation
please help if any one can

Need more details buddy. When does it happen? while driving? when the engine's cold? etc.

sorry about that it happens sometimes when i start the and some days it wont happen at all. it doesnt matter hot or cold? i can sometimes start the car and drive around get to my destination and it will be fine but on my return once i start the vehicle it can appear. very random. i did have my battery light come on last night and my date and time re-set but that was again random.

While you're at it check battery voltage when your car is running. You should read at least 13-14 VDC at idle. If not your alternator may need a regulator / brush replacement (instead of a full replacement). There is a post about how to do that - search the forum. No sense replacing the battery only to have it drained dead by not being charged.

Aside from your glow plug messages, the time/date zeroing out is a strong indicator that the battery is failing. Other odd electrical issues will start to show up soon. You can try a battery charger or tender but ultimately a new battery is probably in your future. Also, as suggested have the alternator checked as well.
