Just came across some info, stating that we can enable Tv in motion for the e60´s via coding... then I found another link stating this could be done via the idrive menu..
I even found a vide on you tube:
Tried it on my car and it does not work (mine is a 2007 e60 525i)
Is this for real? and if it is.. what am i doing wrong?

video in motion can be done via coding and that's it. you found a link stating this can be done via the idrive menu? Care to share?
first, you would need to have a way to play video. Can you currently play video by standing still? The what would make you think you can play video while you're driving?

Video is attached to original post.... Can't u see it? If not, try looking on you tube... You will find it there!
Disregarding your patronizing tone.... The post was not intended for tv in motion itself...pretty logical to think if u cannot watch tv standing still, you could not watch it in motion.....
Post topic was regarding the hidden menu on idrive..... If you watch the video you would know what I'm refferring to... As well as the questons stated on the post

Then you EVEN found a video on youtube as evidence to your previous statement. However when you tried it on your car it didn't work.
You're coming to a forum where all of this stuff is more than widely known for years on end. . E60 has been around since 2004 and 2003 in Europe. Thank you for the info but if you want to know why you couldn't do whatever you were intending to do, read my previous post.
p.s. yes I watched the youtube video. you make it sound like you found a separate link to the youtube video.

The hidden menu just gives you information about software versions etc. You can't actually do anything with it apart from think, "Hey, that's cool".

This can be done but like previously said, you need to code your car......and is not supported on every year/model
