no, chipping would be fine -- does it ever void the warranty?
if not, who is the recommended chipper for a 530i?

Iy your car is a lease BMW will allow you chip tuning.
Chip tuning voids the warranty. But the tuning company will give you a warranty on the chip and the engine, if it is a serious company.
