Hesitates on the acceleration? 528I 2008
#11
So regret now...I should've gotten the 535i instead. I feel like the 528i is so slow, it is not even worth that much of money. My cousin's Camry 2005 is even faster than my car...sign! I guess paying 50+ grands just for the name and look but no power. I've never tested drive the 535i, how is it compared to 528i?
The steering wheel isn't vibrating, it's just the brake, I feel (or my foot) vibration everytime I step real hard on the brake at high speed.
LOL..it would be nice if they have refund or exchange!!!

Isn't his braking description a classic example of warped rotors? I'm def no mechanic but I thought that was the major sign of that despite his low miles.
And honestly, his sluggishness description sounds like a fuel injection issue from bad gas, dirty/build up, etc., not a transmission problem. Too many folks out there put cheap gas in their cars, run them to nearly empty too often, etc. and the result is sluggish engine performance.
In addition to only buying Tier 1 gas, I also put in a bottle of fuel injection cleaner from BMW once a month or at least every 1000 miles. Always have and my SA recently told me he does the same thing without him knowing I did it too.
And, of course, sometimes it's of no fault of the owner -- they just have 'bad' gas stations in their region/area. These BMW's are fine-tuned vehicles and their sensitivety is a sword that cuts both ways. I consider the low cost of the fuel injection additive a quite reasonable insurance policy for the long term health of my car. Just my $.02.
