Your post indicates your warranty just expired. If there are serious mechanical or electrical problems [the oil level sensor is a known problem area] you should press for a good-will repair. It is NOT acceptable for oil-related failures on hi-val cars that are maintained according to the manufacturer's recommendations and not abused!
