I have an appointment with a dealer to have a the iDrive 60k vehicle check and few small problems I?ve had since I got my car in December. What are they going to give me grief over?

1. Ashtray door does not close all the way
2. A/C smells like mold/mildew at startup
3. Brakes griding/squeeling at slow speeds
4. Power window anti-trap function alert
5. Wood dash panel under iDrive screen middle-left vent loose

Are the service requirements countdowns or mileage intervals? I swear these mileages below have never changed! iDrive shows:

Engine Oil: 7000
Spark Plugs: 40000
Microfilter: 90000
Front Brakes: 24000
Rear Brakes: 28000

for the A/C smell, just turn your heat on full blast for 10 mins and it should go away...

The dealer states they need a 2 hours of labor to reprogram the car because of the Power window anti-trap function alert NOT covered under the CPO warranty. I did however just have a full reprogram for the Aux Input (where I can see the FM station names too) a few months back at another dealer. Can one update trigger another problem?

A complete computer reprogram is needed at $254.20! What is different about this software vs. what was loaded 60 days ago?

Dash panel not covered but it only needs a little metal piece to pop it back in. They want to order the whole panel!?! Not needed, suggestions?

I have BIG second thoughts on getting this done and just dropping $254.20 for this that I don't think I'll ever see back. My receipt states: per bulletin need to program vehicle and KBM to return fuctionality of rear window.

I then had him print SIB SI B 61 20 06, 'rear window fails to initialize'. from OCTOBER 2006.

The situation, cause, and procedure is to 'update software' in the KBM (Body Base Module).

Is the KBM the same thing as the software update done to activate the new aux input 60 days ago?

I'm really a dummy for doing this and I want my $254.20 back.
